Monday Night Warfare is a two-hour television show which broadcasts one of two weekly ACW events. Broadcasted on Monday Nights, the show is ACW's flagship TV Show, hosting special events such as The Anniversary Show. It is broadcasted between 8-10pm, with occasional delays and time shifts when other broadcasts take up the obligated time.

[edit] History

[edit] Early Format

Warfare was formed after ACW completed its transition from GFWCW, in order to avoid several lawsuits. The show took over Nitro, and as a result was deemed as the flagship show in ACW (GFWCW's other show, Thunder, was only 1 hour long). The format hasn't changed much over the past four years, and has continued to keep the same commentating staff, theme music and colour theme (red).

The first show witnessed no less than 8 matches, at a time where 8-9 matches on a card was the norm in ACW. The main event brough together two Main Eventers in Latino and Alexandra Kaesar, and ended in a no contest, helping to fuel the CJayC vs. WCW98 feud.

[edit] Evolution

GFWCW was a rocky beginning for the fed, with a lot of people using heavy gimmicks, a number of poorly-written storylines and a largely untalented roster. The switch to ACW brought a cleansweep of the fed as such, and Warfare was critical in giving the best example of this new brand of wrestlers. The low ratings of the Nitro days gradually rose, and within a year of its creation, Warfare was one of the highest rated shows on TV.
